Democracy & Belonging in Cities Community Launch

  • Berlin, BE Germany (map)

Are you interested in learning how cities are experimenting to foster all people’s sense of inclusion and belonging at the local level? Last year, the Forum and GMF Cities launched a new learning community entitled “Democracy & Belonging in Cities,” where we explore cities as laboratories for fostering democratic participation and belonging with leaders both within and beyond the public sector. Catalyzed and hosted by Forum members Agnes Meneses and Mat Cotton, we’re excited to relaunch the community and invite you to join and co-create listening sessions, reflection on experiences of taking action, shared storytelling, and conversations that dive into relevant work and current events with the goal of bridging perspectives around cities, democracy, and belonging. Join us on Tuesday, March  18 (8:00 AM - 10:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM ET / 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM CET) for the community kick-off conversation.
