Othering & Belonging 2023 - Berlin

We're pleased to have concluded two days of brilliant conversations and performances on October 26-27, 2023 in Berlin at our first Othering & Belonging Conference outside the United States where we explored how we can co-create democratic societies rooted in justice and belonging amidst rising populism and intersecting global crises. The gathering on Oct. 26 and 27 brought together hundreds of attendees for a dynamic experience that included music, dance, presentations from leading scholars and activists, and deep conversations on the most pressing issues of our time.

We recorded all the mainstage talks and posted them to our new learning platform, called OBI University, which you can watch after signing up for a free account. OBI University, which we're announcing now for the first time, offers free virtual courses built on the Othering & Belonging framework.
